Easy Waltz
I originally wrote the lyrics to “Easy Waltz” back in 1989. After recently being introduced to an accomplished local Southern California music producer and musician named Dave Blacburn through a good friend, I dusted it off and updated the song through the eyes of a much older and experienced man. Dave wrote some beautiful music for it and helped guide me through my first studio experience. Singing is not my day job, but it turned out really well. My dog “Blue” (short for Johnny Walker Blue) actually stood still long enough to pose for the picture we used above.
